Sept. 25, 2018 -- The Great Lakes Science Center is set to kick off its Great Science Academy for grades six through nine.
The Academy allows scholars to engage in STEM with a full school year of exploring, making and problem-solving. Students will get hands-on with 3-D printing technology, laser-cutting and design, as well as larger-than-life robotics programming.
The Great Science Academy program includes 18 sessions on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuition is $575 per scholar for the year. This includes sessions, field trips, breakfast, lunch and an overnight experience at the Science Center. Scholarships are available.
