2020-2021 School Year - We are Safe, Respectful and Responsible
Welcome to Roxboro Elementary School and to the 2020-2021 school year! We are excited to get this year started and are working hard as a staff to create an environment that is safe and ready to welcome students back, even though it will be remote for the first part of the year. Roxboro Elementary Staff are committed to working with our students on the skills needed to be successful and have continued our theme this year around the three most important skills of being safe, respectful, and responsible. We will reinforce these skills in the classroom and through our units of instruction. Our teachers will also use the IB Learner Profile to help our students achieve success as they strive to be: inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced and reflective.
It is impressive to see how supportive the Roxboro parents are and the support we receive from our PTA. We will continue to provide support to families and will help families get through this difficult time. If there is anything you need during this time, please let us know!
Our website is only one of our means of communication. You can follow us on twitter to get updates on special events and see what our students are learning. All parents are also emailed a newsletter, The Scoop, at least twice a month, and more often as needed. These newsletters are archived on the website. Our PTA also communicates through weekly email reminders of events to families and a facebook page and webpage
If there is anything I can do to help you please call the school (216) 371-7115 or email me [email protected]
I am proud to serve the students and families at Roxboro Elementary School and I want to do whatever it takes to help our students do their best.
